Some things to consider when adding casters:

• Most powered conveyors require that the bed sections are level, straight and square. If the conveyor is not positioned properly in each location, the power train or drive belts may not track properly or the products may not convey in a strain line as intended.
• Don't forget that the conveyor sections can be very heavy. Thus, consider how often the unit is going to be moved.  Are you trying to move the conveyor only to create access to service another piece of equipment? Do you need to move the equipment frequently as a result of a production change?  Do you have to turn corners when moving the equipment?  
•  Shorter units are easier to maneuver. Consider the height to width aspect of the conveyor.  A narrow and tall unit could be unstable while being moved. 
• The electrical power connection should be considered when deciding to make a conveyor portable.
• Floor locks apply pressure against the ground to keep the conveyor in a fixed position.  Consider adding one floor lock at each end of the conveyor.
• Wheel brakes stop the wheel from rolling but do not stop the wheel from swiveling.
• Larger diameter wheel make the conveyor easier to move.
• Knee braces ARE included in the price with each caster support.
